Everything in one focused app

Built for words worth remembering

No endless owl streaks or filler lessons. Just the words you choose, learned deeply and reviewed at the perfect moment.

🌐

Translate anything, both ways

Speak or type in either language and get an instant translation. Tap any word in the result to save it as a focus word.

📌

Save words for spaced review

Every word you save joins your SRS queue and resurfaces exactly when you are about to forget it — no deck-building required.

Full analysis the moment you save

Saving a word instantly gets you its part of speech, register, full conjugation table and real example sentences — the context you need to actually use it.

🎙️

Review by speaking real sentences

No multiple choice. Each review asks you to say a sentence using the word — switch to typing if you prefer — proof you can use it, not just recognise it.

🔁

Never the same sentence twice

Reuse a sentence you have already said for a word and it is marked wrong, so every review pushes you to generate fresh, natural usage.

💡

Feedback that sharpens every session

At the end of a review, each sentence you wrote is graded for naturalness, with the smallest edit that would make it perfect.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What makes FluentSRS different from Duolingo or Anki?

You choose the words. Translate anything, save what is worth learning, and get automatic analysis, conjugation tables and example sentences — no deck-building, no fixed course. Reviews then ask you to speak real sentences instead of picking an answer, so you prove you can actually use the word.

How do reviews actually work?

Instead of multiple choice, each review asks you to produce a sentence using the word — by speaking, or typing if you switch modes in settings. Reuse a sentence you have already used for that word and it counts as a fail, so you are always pushed to say something new and natural.

What is the sentence feedback?

At the end of a review session, every sentence you wrote is graded for how natural it sounds and — for anything short of perfect — you get shown the smallest edit that would fix it, with a short reason. It is a Pro feature.

Which languages are supported?

27 languages: English, Italian, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, Portuguese, Greek, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, French, Russian, Bengali, Indonesian, Urdu, Vietnamese, Thai, Croatian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Irish, Sicilian and Korean — with full conjugation and analysis support for each, and more languages on the way. Add as many as you like and swipe between them.

Is it really free?

Yes. The free tier lets you add up to five new focus words and ten translations a day, with unlimited reviews and no ads. Pro removes those daily caps, unlocks full conjugation tables and adds feedback on the sentences you say.

How much is Pro?

$4.99 AUD per month, or $39.99 AUD per year (about $3.33/month — roughly a third cheaper). Reviews and accuracy are never reduced for free users.

When is it launching?

FluentSRS is coming to the App Store and Google Play soon. Check back here — the download links go live at release.
